On November 1st, two schools came to PS 28 to learn about our project - this school was Nicolas Copernicus No. 25 Elementary School. They created environments for daphnia, and even took pet daphnia home with them! The student who had the daphnia alive the longest would win a picture in the home page. The kids had to find out themselves that how much fresh water, algae water, and java moss had to be put in the cup. they had to grab up to 1-4 of those swift daphnia and put it in their newly created environment.
